How to get GFWL to open in Batman: Arkham City

So as you may know I bought Batman Arkham city! The only problem was that Games for Windows - Live didn't work or open up in game.
I got it to work though! So if you are experiencing this problem as well this will be a tutorial on how to fix it!
First of all I'm running Windows XP SP3, so this might only be the solution to people with this problem on this OS.
1. Locate the directory of GFWL: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE\Client
2. Open either GFWLive.exe or GFLWClient.exe
3. If it opens successfully, that means I have no idea what your problem is. It shouldn't open and instead give you an error box saying that you need Windows Live Sign-in Assistant. Click OK.
4. Download Windows Live Sign-in Assistant and then install it.
5. If it installs then success! However, for me it never installed but rather the installation ended prematurely. I had no idea what the problem was. As I was looking around for the solution to this problem I came across a Windows Update fix. Last year my computer got a virus and windows update was turned off.
This icon would always appear on the taskbar next to the other icons. Even when I turned automatic updates on through the control menu, It still wouldn't actually turn on.
It would always show the Automatic Updates in the Windows Security Center as it was Off. Right now I have it on as I got it fixed.

To do this go to this website and follow the instructions (clicky).
6. Once you have inputed the follow command into the run prompt. It should say that it has been resolved.
7. Automatic Updates should now be on and working! Now try installing Windows Live Sign-in Assistant again. This time it should complete and work.
8. Now Games for Windows - Live marketplace should work and open when you open it. And it should know appear in game!

Hope this works for anyone with the problem running on Windows XP SP3. This is just one of the solutions. The one that worked for me! Enjoy!

Update Nyan Fusion

Here is a bit more of the animation. I probably won't show full out animation updates anymore. Just want to know your opinions on how they fuse using the little rainbow charge in between their arms since their arms are too short and stubby to reach each other lol.

Batman Arkham City Released Today!

So.. Batman Arkham City came out today for the XBOX 360 and PS3!!
SWEEEET!! I loved Batman Arkham Asylum. That was one of the best games I’ve ever played and made me a much bigger Batman fan :D

Unfortunately for me, I don’t have a 360 or PS3 so I have to wait for the release on WINDOWS, which doesn’t come out till November 8 (EID!!). I was thinking of pre-ordering the game a couple months ago but the PC version didn’t get Robin as exclusive pre-order package at Best Buy. But then… -__- to my surprise when I checked back a couple of days ago.. there he was.. ROBIN! Available for the PC version when you pre-order from Best Buy. The problem here was.. IT WAS SOLD OUT DAMMIT!! Then When I messaged them on Facebook and they responded and they were restocked! I was gonna buy last night but I didn't have a credit card and my debit wasn't being accepted. I checked today.. and BAM! Robin is no longer available for pre-order :(

Oh well... I guess I'll just have to DLC it. Also Nightwing is apparently going to be DLC for the PC version as well. So sweet on them for letting PC gamers get the little extra goodies as well has the console versions (cause usually PC gets shit).

Toon Boom Studio 4.5 Tutorial - Glow

So a lot of people ask me to do tutorials.. I don't really know how or what to do. Some people ask about the glow effects I do. It's quite simple really. However; the problem with it is that you can only have circles and rectangles that have teh glow effect. The effect doesn't look so good on the rectangles though cause they are cut off; so a way to go around that is to use semi-circles. I can show how to do that later. But for now, we will make a glowy circle like energy balls (like the ones used in DBZ (ki blasts)).

So to start off, open up Toon Boom Studio and make a new colour by clicking the PLUS sign.
Then click the colour pallete next to the plus sign.
Select gradient and chose radial. The left colour is the inside and the right colour is the outside.
Chose white for the inside and the glow in this case will be a light blue so pick the colour you wish to use.
Now you want to add a couple more colours into the slider so click the white slider and click right beside it to make a new one. Do the same for the blue colour.
Now move the two blue colours to the left side and make the furthest right colour at Alpha 0 so it's completely transparent. That will give the glow effect to the blue colour beside it.

Now close the colour picker. In the drawing view, make a circle and fill it in with the colour then remove the circle outline so you are left with just the fill. Open the colour picker window again and play around with the sliders till you get the look you are happy with.
